Baş Araştırmacı // Primary Researcher, Evaluation of Application and Utilization of Traffic Management Center (TMC) Data in Calculating the Average Operating Speed, Travel Time, and Delay (DCTR422288). Project Budget: $58.465, June 2016 – December 2016, Delaware Department of Transportation, University of Delaware, DE, USA || Project evaluated the use of Bluetooth data for the collection of travel time in Delaware. Bluetooth-based travel time was compared with active GPS probe vehicle data in different speed, volume and density relationships.

The ongoing project provides critical data and information regarding the current conditions and the preparation of future developments.

Baş Araştırmacı // Primary Researcher, Satellite Assessment and Monitoring for Pavement Management (CAIT-UTC-NC4), Project Budget: $49.471, September 2014 – December 2015, Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation & University Transportation Center (CAIT-UTC), USA || Project evaluated the contribution of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite data for pavement management. A set of proper SAR satellite images are able to provide time-series data for the deterioration on a pavement with millimetric accuracy.

The ongoing project provides critical data and information regarding the current conditions and the preparation of future developments. 
  10. Danışman // Faculty and Advisory Committee, Spin İn – Traffic (DBOI 422921), Project Budget: $500.000, November 2012 – May 2013, Office of Economic Innovation and Partnership (OEIP) & AppSYGNA, DE, USA || The project provided technical support to an entrepreneur for designing and developing a widget to be plugged in cars for the collection of traffic-related data. As a multidisciplinary team, the project delivered both product and market plans for a successful start-up.
